ABOUT TRUE LIGHT CHURCH

Pastor Vincent L. Williams, Sr. and Wife Regina Williams

WHO WE ARE

At True Light, we are a Christ-centered community of faith, dedicated to worship, discipleship, and service. Rooted in the inspired Word of God, we strive to live out the teachings of Jesus Christ through love, compassion, and commitment to sharing the Good News of salvation. United as a family of baptized believers, we seek to glorify God in all we do, nurture spiritual growth, and extend His light to the world. Our purpose is to honor Him through fellowship, ministry, and proclaiming His truth to all people.

Our Vision Statement

To become a church that displays the love of God in a biblical and relevant way and encourages others to walk in Christian maturity through Bible based preaching, teaching, fellowship and discipleship.

To compel the community to accept the gift of eternal life and to teach them to mature in the Christian faith.

We believe the Bible is the inspired, inerrant, and infallible Word of God. It is the ultimate authority for faith, doctrine, and practice, revealing God’s truth to His people.

We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We affirm that God is the Creator and Sustainer of all life and that His love and grace are available to all.

We believe in Jesus Christ as the Son of God, fully divine and fully human. Through His death, burial, and resurrection, He provides the only means of salvation for humanity. By faith in Him, we are reconciled to God and receive the gift of eternal life.

We believe in the Holy Spirit, who dwells within believers, guiding, empowering, and equipping us for holy living and service. The Spirit strengthens us to fulfill God’s mission on Earth.

We believe in the church as the body of Christ, a fellowship of baptized believers, unified by faith and committed to worship, discipleship, and the mission of spreading the Gospel to all nations.

We believe in salvation by grace through faith, not by works. It is the free gift of God, available to all who confess Jesus as Lord and Savior.

We believe in the ordinances of Believer’s Baptism and the Lord’s Supper as acts of obedience and symbols of our faith in Christ’s death, burial, and resurrection.

We believe in the imminent return of Jesus Christ, the final resurrection, and eternal life for all believers. We hold fast to the hope of restoration and the fulfillment of God’s Kingdom.

This is our faith, rooted in the love of God and dedicated to His glory. Through Him, we live, move, and have our being.
